DESCRIPTION
Lyophilization or freeze drying takes advantage of the scientific principle of sublimation: the direct transition of a substance from the solid state to the gaseous state.
LIO freeze dryers remove ice from frozen bodies, typically food, and change it into water vapor, resulting in complete dryness. Thanks to the sublimation technique, the food retains much of its original texture, flavor, and all of its nutritional elements when rehydrated.
